Several "Gun Camera Photo Fraud" essays state that heavy smoke appears in front of the Captain's Gig, on the starboard side, as shown in the purported gun camera image below, but that there was no fire or smoke at that location during the attack.
To show that this was truly the case, look at the post-attack image below. Do you see any sign of a significant fire or smoke soot anywhere near the Captain's Gig?
Without doubt, there were major fires (and smoke) during the attack, but they were on the port side of the superstructure, starboard side of the pilot house, and at the lifeboat or whaleboat area on the starboard side of the superstructure -- nowhere near the Captain's Gig and main deck.
The purported gun camera images are not mirror-imaged; thus, they truly depict a major fire and smoke where none existed -- supporting that they are fraudulent.
