This Internet web site presents documentary and forensic evidence studies, findings and references related to the June 8, 1967, attack on a non-combatant U.S. Navy General Technical Research ship, USS Liberty (AGTR-5), by the air and naval armed forces of Israel, during the Six-Day War.

The findings herein are based on a careful study of official documents and the application of common graphical analysis techniques to images and data discovered within documentary evidence. 

The forensic analyses do not involve complex or advanced techniques or concepts, and can be easily reproduced by anybody interested.

In the interest of full disclosure, the author of these analyses and findings is not an attorney or a professional forensic scientist; but he has extensive education and experience in both theoretical and applied science, electronic and radio technology, and computer and telecommunication systems with a Master of Science in Computer Science being the highest degree earned.  Additionally, he served six years (1968 - 1974) in the U.S. Navy, working as a Communications/Cryptologic Technician (CT), within the Naval Security Group.
